Viton Oil Seal

Viton (FKM/Fluorocarbon) oil seals are high-performance, durable sealing elements designed for extreme environments, offering superior resistance to high temperatures (-10°C to +210°C), chemicals, oils, and fuels. They are typically brown, featuring a metal case for structural integrity and a spring-loaded lip for superior shaft sealing, widely used in automotive and industrial applications. 

Viton (FKM/FPM) oil seals are high-performance fluoroelastomer seals, designed for extreme temperatures (−25∘C to +200∘C) and superior chemical/oil resistance. They typically feature a brown color, 70-80 Shore A hardness, and are ideal for high-speed, high-temperature automotive/industrial applications like crankshafts and gearboxes, often with a metal casing for rigidity. 

·  High-Heat Engines: Ideal for turbochargers, high-performance racing engines, and aircraft components.

·  Aggressive Fuels: Essential for systems using Biodiesel or ethanol-blended fuels (which eat NBR).

·  Chemical Processing: Used in pumps and valves handling harsh acids or solvents.

·  Vacuum Applications: It has very low gas permeability, making it great for sealing vacuums.
